A Shocking Incident at a Pet-Prohibited Self-Service Café

A dog owner was captured on camera bringing their dog into a self-service café that prohibits pets, allowing the dog to defecate and then leaving the waste in a trash bin, causing outrage among netizens.

On the 14th, a post titled "Brought a dog into a self-service café, let it poop, and left it in the trash bin" appeared in the self-employed online community "It Hurts Because I'm a Boss."

Mr. A, who has been operating a self-service café for three years, shared that he has encountered various difficult customers, from elderly patrons filling bottles with tap water to drunken customers sleeping for extended periods, and students filming TikTok videos while lowering the blinds.

However, this incident left Mr. A even more shocked. He explained, "I thought things had calmed down a lot, but while emptying the trash bin today, I found dog poop in it," adding, "They didn’t even wrap it in a bag. It was literally just poop stuffed into a trash bin."

Despite the café having clear regulations prohibiting pets, Mr. A originally thought, "Did someone just walk by and leave dog poop after walking their dog?" However, after reviewing the CCTV footage, he learned a more shocking fact.

The footage showed a middle-aged couple allowing their leashless dog to roam freely inside the café around 11:30 PM the previous night.

The dog defecated on the café floor, and a female customer, while ordering, reportedly picked it up in a bag but didn’t tie it and just tossed it into the trash bin.

Mr. A added, "What’s even more outrageous is that they let the dog walk on the long bench-like seats where the customers sit, stepping all over the place."

He mentioned, "Business has been tough lately, and this kind of behavior makes it even more disheartening." He also shared that he has a pet, urging, "Please, let’s be better humans than the dogs we own."

Netizens who came across the story expressed outrage, stating comments like "This is really beyond common sense," "An inconsiderate dog owner," "I want to print their face and hang it on the door," and "What kind of bad manners is it not to tie the bag?"
