80-Year-Old Man Threatens Daughter with Knife Over Consumer Coupons Conflict
A conflict between a father and daughter over the use of consumer recovery coupons escalated into a knife threat incident.
The police have arrested an 80-year-old man who threatened his daughter with a weapon and are currently investigating the case.

According to reports from News1 and others on the 4th, the Uiwang Police in Gyeonggi Province have apprehended the 80-year-old man, referred to as A, on suspicion of special intimidation.
A is accused of threatening his daughter, in her 50s, named B, by brandishing a knife at her around 11:50 AM on the 27th of last month at his residence in Naeson-dong, Uiwang City, saying, "I will kill you."
"I will kill you."
The police, who responded to B's emergency call, arrested A in the act while he was intoxicated.
Fortunately, B was able to escape outside the house and was not physically harmed.
Family Conflict Triggered by Consumer Recovery Coupons

The incident originated from the "Consumer Recovery Coupons."
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated, "I was angry because my daughter did not buy my belongings with the consumer recovery coupons."
The Consumer Recovery Coupons are benefits provided by the government to stimulate the economy, and differences in opinions regarding their usage appear to have led to serious conflicts between the father and daughter. In particular, it seems that A lost control of his emotions while intoxicated, leading him to brandish a knife.
