Actors Do Kyung-soo, Won Jin-ah, and Shin Ye-eun will present a fantasy romance. The movie “Secret That Cannot Be Told” (directed by Seo Yoo-min) confirmed its release date on the 17th. It is set to premiere during the lunar new year in January 2025.
The poster has also been revealed. It captures the exciting moments of Yoo-jun (played by Do Kyung-soo), Jung-ah (played by Won Jin-ah), and In-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun) in love. The tagline “I will cross time to meet you” hints at the relationship between the three characters. “Secret That Cannot Be Told” is based on the Taiwanese film of the same name (2008).
The story begins when Yoo-jun and Jung-ah accidentally encounter each other in a campus practice room hiding the secret of time. While maintaining the main framework of the original, it incorporates the mood, music, and visuals blending Korean emotions.
Director Seo Yoo-min took the helm. He has written screenplays for “Happiness” and “The Last Princess” and directed the feature film “Recalled.” A representative stated, “We will present a fantasy romance that will warmly touch the hearts of the audience with rich music and fresh excitement at the start of the new year, when everything begins anew.”
