60s Man Crashes Vehicle into Police Station

The Gyeonggi Yeoncheon Police Station reported that they have arrested a man in his 60s, referred to as A, on charges of damaging public property and driving under the influence.

A is suspected of having crashed his vehicle into the building of the Jeonggok Police Station in Yeoncheon County at around 3:30 PM the previous day.

At the time of the incident, A was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, but fortunately, no injuries occurred.

During the police investigation, A stated that he committed the act because he was dissatisfied with the police forcibly committing him to a mental hospital in the past.

During the incident, the vehicle crashed into a column at the main entrance of the police station and came to a stop.

The police are conducting further investigations to determine the exact motive and circumstances behind A's actions.
