The producers of 'The Chef in Antarctica' have made a statement regarding the rumors of postponement. An MBC representative explained to 'Dispatch' on the 14th, "'The Chef in Antarctica' was filmed with the goal of airing in April, but the scheduling has been adjusted." The impact of breaking news coverage related to the upcoming early presidential election has been significant. "The exact broadcast timing will be announced as soon as it is confirmed," they stated.

'The Chef in Antarctica' is a variety show featuring broadcaster and entrepreneur Baek Jong-won, actors Im Soo-hyang, Chae Jong-hyeop, and singer-actor Suho. The team left through Incheon International Airport last November. The show captures the process of serving a warm meal to the staff at the King Sejong Station in Antarctica.

Originally, the first broadcast was scheduled for April. However, the airing has been postponed. There have been claims that the airing was halted due to issues related to Baek Jong-won. In fact, Baek Jong-won's company, The Born Korea, has been embroiled in several controversies, including disputes over the quality of 'Baek Ham' and errors in origin labeling.

Meanwhile, 'The Chef in Antarctica' is co-produced by MBC and LG Uplus Studio X Plus.
