Delivery driver's shocking behavior: unlawfully opened a box of potatoes and took some away
JTBC's 'Incident Manager' reported on the 24th about a case in which a delivery driver was caught unlawfully opening a box of potatoes during delivery and taking some of its contents.

The couple who reported the incident witnessed the driver's suspicious behavior while getting into their vehicle for an outing on the 22nd.
The box they were supposed to receive contained potatoes sent directly from the reporter's friend, who had farmed them.
Without any hesitation, the delivery driver ripped open the box, took out a few potatoes, placed them in the back seat of his vehicle, and then sealed the opened part with tape, attempting to complete the delivery.
The reporter, who observed the entire process, immediately confronted the delivery driver, asking, "Why did you take the potatoes? We saw everything." The flustered driver responded with an excuse, saying, "I took them out because they were rotten."

When the reporter pressed, asking, "How did you know they were rotten when it's not a transparent box?" the driver hesitantly replied, "Should I put them back?"
Delivery company responded, "We will take action after verifying the facts."
At the time, the reporter had a schedule, so they said, "Just go for now. I will contact you later," and left the scene. Subsequently, the delivery driver sent an apology text, stating, "I was short-sighted. I'm sorry."

The reporter reported the incident to the delivery company, which has since responded that they will take action regarding the driver after verifying the facts.
The reporter particularly expressed concern, stating that "the way the driver ripped the handle off the side of the box to take the potatoes, fearing the invoice would get damaged, does not seem like the act of a novice." He added, "I reported this because I believe he appears to be a habitual offender."
