The movie 'Deadpool and Wolverine' (directed by Shawn Levy) has grossed $1 billion worldwide.
According to Box Office Mojo, 'Deadpool and Wolverine' surpassed $1.029 billion in worldwide box office revenue as of the 12th.
It gained particularly strong popularity in North America, amassing $494 million in its first three weeks of release, which accounts for 48% of the total revenue.
This is the second-highest revenue for an R-rated (under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian) film in history. It is approaching the revenue of 'Joker' ($1.07 billion).
It has emerged as a savior for Marvel, surpassing $1 billion in revenue for the first time in five years since 'Avengers: Endgame.' It is the 11th highest-grossing film in the MCU.
Meanwhile, 'Deadpool and Wolverine' is about Deadpool, who has retired from his hero life, facing a huge crisis and seeking out Wolverine.
