DAY6 presents two sides. It captures contrasting charms, from the freshness of youth to a strong appearance.
DAY6 has become the star of issue 27 of 'The Icon'. In February, we met in Tokyo, Japan, where we portrayed their wonderful and perfect day.
The 'DAY6' edition is prepared in two versions (A, B), totaling 200 pages. Photographers Bang Kyu-hyung and film director Cho Jun-goo participated in this project.
The A type title is "One Fine DAY6." It captures the spring days of youth. Special gifts include a photo card, photo stand and postcard, as well as two four-cut photos.
Type B is titled "Perfect DAY6," featuring an atmosphere completely opposite to that of type A. It encapsulates their perfect visuals. Gifts include a photo card, a polaroid pack, and a glow-in-the-dark keyring.
The history of their 10-year debut is reflected. It revisits the meaning of the music they create. It also includes fearless interviews with the members and vivid behind-the-scenes footage. Notably, a page made together with fans is a special feature exclusive to issue 27.
DAY6 expressed, "We were so happy during the shoot. We filled it with our beautiful appearances and the scenery of Tokyo streets. We are also looking forward to seeing the completed version."
'The Icon' began pre-orders at 2 PM on the 4th. It can be reserved at various platforms including The Icon Mall, KakaoTalk Gifts, Weverse Shop, Yes24, Aladin, Online Kyobo Bookstore, Danal Entertainment, K-Town For You, and Gobunsha (Japan). The deadline is until 11:59 PM on the 13th.
In particular, special gifts (concept photo cards, bookmarks, etc.) are provided for purchases made through Weverse Shop, KakaoTalk Gifts, The Icon Mall, Yes24, Aladin, and Online Kyobo Bookstore.
Type A includes individual (front) and unit (back) photos. There are a total of 5 photo cards (4 individual, 1 unit). Scanning the QR code reveals members’ secret messages and signatures.
A double-sided photo stand will also be provided, along with 10 postcards made from landscapes, selfies, and photos of each other taken by DAY6. Two four-cut photos are decorated with hand-drawn frames by the members.
Type B consists of individual (front) and group (back) photos. There are 5 photo cards with handwritten messages. A Polaroid pack includes Polaroid film (5 individual, 1 group) as a gift, along with a drawing titled 'A Picture That Expresses Me' created by the members.
The glow-in-the-dark keyring features instruments and handwritten hearts drawn by the members. When combined into four charms, they form a clover. Collecting the four words written by the members completes a sentence.
