'Ive' Ahn Yujin will step onto the ground of Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

Starship Entertainment announced on the 2nd, "Ahn Yujin will serve as the ceremonial kickoff for the match between Daejeon Hana Citizen and Anyang FC on the 3rd."

Through the ceremonial kickoff on that day, Ahn Yujin wishes for a victory for Daejeon Hana Citizen. She participated in a ceremonial kickoff last year as a model for Hana Financial Group.

She expressed, "It is an honor to be able to cheer for Daejeon Hana Citizen's victory in my beloved Daejeon," and added, "I will do my best to bring good energy."

Ahn Yujin is known as the 'daughter of Daejeon'. She attended Daejeon Samcheon Elementary School and Daejeon Munjeong Middle School. Later, she transferred to Seoul Gwanak Middle School to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.

In July 2023, she held her first ceremonial kickoff event. Wearing a Daejeon Hana Citizen uniform, she visited Noeun-dong. The event recorded the second highest attendance for a weekday match in history.

Meanwhile, Ahn Yujin recently sang the OST for tvN's 'Someday, A Wise Resident's Life'. She also appeared in the popular show 'Bbangbabang Earth Arcade 3'.
