Rookie singer-songwriter Olivia Marsh is making her debut. She is known as the elder sister of ‘NewJeans’ member Danielle.

Global label Amplify released the intro video for Olivia Marsh’s debut single and self-composed song ’42’ on the 9th, announcing her debut date as the 16th. The video also hinted at her unique musical style and voice.

The one-minute video showcases Olivia Marsh’s childhood, featuring scenes of her blowing out birthday candles with her family every year. The voices of family members filming her with a camcorder can be heard from behind the camera.

The highlight is in the latter part. Olivia Marsh’s calm and clear voice and melody flow through, completing a story by the end. Young Olivia shyly recites her name.

Olivia Marsh is the first artist introduced by Amplify, a newly established label. Even before her debut, she was confirmed to perform at the ‘South by Southwest Sydney’ showcase.

Olivia, born in 2000, holds both Korean and Australian citizenship. Her relation as the elder sister of ‘NewJeans’ Danielle (Danielle Marsh) garnered attention even before her debut. She has been active as a composer and lyricist since last year.

Olivia Marsh’s debut single will be released at noon on the 16th.
