‘D.P.’, Netflix’s non-English series ranks 3rd… Entered the Top 10 in 39 countries

The Netflix series "Bokssak Sogassuda" has captivated audiences worldwide, reaching 3rd place in the non-English category.

"Bokssak Sogassuda" (written by Lim Sang-chun, directed by Kim Won-seok) released its fourth act (episodes 13-16) on the 28th of last month, depicting the brilliant life of a family living in Jeju Island.

According to the latest tally for "Netflix Top 10" (for the week of March 24-30), "Bokssak Sogassuda" secured 3rd place in the global Top 10 series for non-English content with 6 million views.

It has placed on the Top 10 lists of 39 countries/regions including Bolivia, Brazil, Japan, and Pakistan. It hit the number one spot in South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

For four weeks, it has made audiences laugh and cry both domestically and internationally. The joys and sorrows of Aesun (played by IU) and Kwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum) resonated across generations and cultures.

It has received acclaim as a high-quality family drama, achieving a 98% audience score on "Rotten Tomatoes." Its IMDb rating stands at 9.4 out of 10.
