‘EXO’ D.O. successfully concluded his first Asia Tour, performing a total of 18 shows across 12 regions in Asia.
D.O. held his Asia fan concert ‘BLOOM in MANILA’ at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines, from August 31 to September 1.
The opening was intense, starting with ‘Mars.’ He showcased perfect live skills and stage presence. The concert hall was filled with enthusiastic cheers from fans.
He also performed various songs such as ‘For You Not to Know,’ ‘That’s Okay,’ ‘Confession of Everyday,’ ‘You of Yesterday, Me of Today,’ ‘It’s Okay,’ ‘Falling Star,’ and ‘Somebody.’
D.O. roamed around the stage, engaging warmly with fans in the local language. He hosted activities such as Food Balance, quiz about his works, emoji song quiz, and Food World Cup.
The audience response was explosive. Manila fans prepared video messages for D.O. and sang along to every song throughout the performance. They also prepared various fan events.
Fans displayed heartfelt slogans like ‘Our most beautiful flower D.O. keep blooming with us’ and ‘Manila is STUCK ON M★RS.’
He chose ‘Popcorn’ as the encore song, once again stirring the audience. The song was completed together with the fans, with everyone singing along until the end.
D.O. concluded his tour with the Manila concert. “Although this concert is coming to an end, I hope you remember the happy atmosphere today,” he said. He promised to meet again soon, adding, “I will prepare the next album quickly and come back as soon as possible,” expressing his gratitude to his fans.
His agency stated, “D.O. showed unfiltered charm and talent in every performance across Asia, proving his popularity with all tickets sold out for every show.”
D.O. will finish the tour with ‘BLOOM THE FINAL’ at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from November 11 to 13, promising a spectacular finale.
