'SEVENTEEN' member DK has surprised fans with the release of his self-composed track. On the morning of the 29th, DK unveiled his new song 'Star Crossing Night' through China's Douyin's music platform, Soda Music.

'Star Crossing Night' is a song that captures the perspective of someone reminiscing about falling in love. DK drew inspiration from the night sky and shooting stars to write and compose the piece.

Chinese rapper GALI features on the track. He ranked third in the iQIYI program 'Rap of China 2020'. His vocals blend harmoniously with DK's, adding a dreamy quality to the song.

This new song project is the result of collaborations with multiple global brands, as DK partnered with the Chinese short-form platform Douyin and the British magazine Wonderland.

Additionally, a music film concept short will be released later. Starting from the 30th, listeners in other countries will be able to hear 'Star Crossing Night' on major music sites.

Aside from group albums, DK has previously released a variety of songs across different genres, including the Chinese digital singles 'Dreams Come True,' 'Falling Down,' 'Side by Side,' and 'Comet.' Last year, he released his first Chinese EP album 'STARDUST,' where he received credit for all the tracks, showcasing his singer-songwriter capabilities.

Along with the song's release, he will also be performing at a major local music festival. He is set to headline the 'YJ Music Festival' taking place in Beijing on the 20th and 21st of next month.
