The role-playing mystery game show 'Crime Scene' is returning with a new season. 'Crime Scene' has confirmed the production of a new season, but it will move platforms. It will be presented to global audiences as a Netflix original show instead of on TVING, where it originally premiered.

'Crime Scene' is a role-playing mystery game where players act as suspects and detectives to find the criminal hidden among them. It started as a seasonal show on JTBC in 2014.

Within meticulously designed settings, players act out the roles of their given suspects and reveal who the criminal is. The show unfolds on a solid storyline and a thoroughly planned board, where the role-playing game takes place.

The show brought thrill with players' outlandish mystery-solving battles and interesting relationships, receiving love from viewers each season. There is heightened interest in the new season.

The fifth season will be released on Netflix. PD Yoon Hyun-joon stated, "We decided to bring the fun of 'Crime Scene' to both domestic and global fans. Please look forward to and support our journey."

A Netflix representative added, "'Crime Scene' has opened a new horizon in mystery variety shows. We are pleased that the new chapter can be introduced to both Korean and global fans through Netflix."

Over its four seasons, 'Crime Scene' has been recognized for its production value, winning the main award at the 'New York TV & Film Festival,' the Best Award at Asia's largest TV awards, the 'Asian Television Awards,' and the Gold Award at one of North America's three major film festivals, the 'Houston International Video & Film Festival.'
