"Red light, but…" A couple ignores traffic signals to take a photo
Criticism from netizens continues regarding the actions of a couple who took a 'certification shot' while ignoring traffic signals in the vicinity of Cheongsapo in Jung 1-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
On the 2nd, a video titled "Two People Captured in a Photo Session Despite Traffic Signals!" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Han Moon-cheol TV.'

The video captures a couple taking a certification photo in the middle of a crosswalk. Despite the traffic signal being green, the couple stood in the center of the crosswalk holding what appeared to be a tripod and a smartphone for filming.
As the woman adjusted the position of the tripod, the man moved further into the center of the four-lane road, posing with the smartphone facing him.
Driver A, who was traveling on the road, had no choice but to stop their vehicle due to these individuals, even though the traffic signal was green. A bus that entered the adjacent lane also seemed to slow down in confusion.

After finishing their photo shoot, the couple returned to the sidewalk.
However, when the pedestrian signal changed, they resumed their positions and started taking photos again, lost in their photo session until the traffic signal turned green once more.
Although a driver honked lightly, the couple paid no mind and eventually left the road only after hearing a loud honk.

The 'inconsiderate couple' blocked moving cars to take their certification shot at a location known as a 'photo hotspot' near Cheongsapo in Haeundae-gu.
This spot harmonizes with the railway where beach trains pass and the sea spreading out beautifully behind, making it a popular place for many tourists trying to snap a 'certification shot.'
Currently, there are over 390,000 posts on Instagram with the hashtag 'Cheongsapo.'

Ordinary tourists quickly take pictures while crossing the crosswalk when the traffic signal is red, but the couple's disregard for the signals while taking photos became the issue.
Driver A, who reported the incident, said, "This location resembles a scene from a Japanese animation, so people take a lot of pictures here. Usually, when a car approaches, we step aside to take pictures, but this couple didn't care about the cars and didn't plan to step aside even when the signal changed."
Meanwhile, according to the Road Traffic Act Enforcement Decree, crossing against the pedestrian signal can incur a fine of 30,000 KRW.
