Kim Moon-soo "I am proud to be with Kim Moon-soo" dance to the campaign song
Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, appealed for support by dancing to singer Kim Jong-kook's hit song 'Lovely' at the Seomun Market in Daegu.
On the 12th, candidate Kim visited Daegu, known as the 'stronghold of conservatism,' as the last event of his first official campaign day.

This move is analyzed as a response to recent criticism from his concrete support base over the conflict regarding a unification agreement with former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
On this day, candidate Kim visited the Seomun Market, wearing a red hat and waving the national flag, while greeting supporters who welcomed him with drums and gongs.
The campaign event was also attended by party co-campaign chairperson and National Assembly Vice Chairman Joo Ho-young, floor leader Kwon Seong-dong, policy chair Kim Sang-hoon, former floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, and assembly members Kang Dae-sik, Kwon Young-jin, Kim Seung-soo, Lee Heon-seung, Choi Eun-seok, Lee Man-hee, and Kim Dae-sik.

When the campaign song, adapted from the song 'Lovely,' played, candidate Kim followed the campaigners' movements and showcased his dance alongside the party leadership and citizens.
On the stage prepared for the campaign, candidate Kim stated, "If I become president, I will be a 'market president' ensuring that all markets across the country, starting from our Seomun Market, thrive," and added, "I will be a 'president for the common people,' working to ensure a more comfortable and warm life for our citizens."

He further emphasized, "People say you cannot see the president even if you wanted to, but when I became governor, I immediately became a taxi driver. I drove a taxi for a few days in Daegu, but I also traveled throughout Gyeonggi Province, Seoul, and Daegu. The higher you go, the more you must come down to the lower places; I will be a president who warmly goes to the lower places."
After concluding his campaign at the Seomun Market, candidate Kim met with reporters and responded to a question regarding how he plans to engage with Lee Jun-seok, the presidential candidate of the Reform Party, who is opposed to unification. He said, "I believe there are various ways we need to work together."
