Stray Kids are expanding their genre. Stray Kids announced the news of their new release on their social media on the 15th. They will unveil ‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE 合(HOP)’ on December 13th. ‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE’ combines the abbreviation ‘SKZ’ for Stray Kids with ‘HIP-HOP’.
Like an undefined new genre, this album includes tracks in Stray Kids’ unique new genre. ‘合(HOP)’ signifies the unity completed by all eight Stray Kids members, and it also holds a double meaning by combining ‘HOP’ from the hip-hop genre name. ‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE-合(HOP)’ will be officially released at 2 PM on December 13th, which is midnight Eastern Time in the U.S. Stray Kids will conclude the year spectacularly with their new release.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are currently on their new world tour ‘dominATE’. They performed at Tokyo Dome on the 14th and will meet fans again from the 16th to the 19th.
Additionally, they will continue their tour on the 23rd in Manila, Philippines; from the 29th to 30th in Macau; on December 5th and from 7th to 8th in Osaka, Japan; on the 14th in Bangkok, Thailand; on the 21st in Jakarta, Indonesia; and finally on January 18th to 19th, 2025, in Hong Kong.
