“Competition”, 1.35 million in 12 days… “Breakeven, 450,000 remains”

The movie 'Seungbu' (directed by Kim Hyung-joo) has topped the weekend box office for two consecutive weeks. According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system, 'Seungbu' attracted 427,008 viewers last weekend (October 4-6). The cumulative number of viewers now stands at 1,351,652.

On the 11th day of its release, it surpassed 1 million viewers on October 5. Given the steady performance, it is expected to comfortably break even at the break-even point of 1.8 million viewers.

'Lobby' (directed by Ha Jung-woo) secured the second place, drawing in 101,520 moviegoers during the same period. Since its release on October 2, it has gathered a total audience of 165,313 in theaters.

In third place is 'Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Last Attack' (directed by Hayashi Yuichiro, 60,000 viewers). Following that is 'Flow' (directed by Gints Zhilvbalodis, 10,000 viewers).

Meanwhile, 'Seungbu' tells the story of the legendary Go player Cho Hun-hyeon (played by Lee Byung-hun) who, after losing a match to his disciple Lee Chang-ho (played by Yoo Ah-in), challenges himself to rise to the top once again.
