The British band 'Coldplay' is coming to Korea.
The concert planning company Live Nation Korea announced on the 19th, "'Coldplay' will hold a concert in Korea next April. It will be held at the Goyang Sports Complex over four sessions."
They will present a fantastic 'stadium show'. They will perform their representative hit songs such as 'Yellow', 'Fix You', and 'Viva la Vida'.
They will also perform their latest singles, including 'feelslikeimfallinginlove' released in June and 'WE PRAY' released last month.
The spectacular stage production is also a highlight not to be missed. This performance will fill the large stadium with colorful lasers, fireworks, flames, and LED bracelets.
Ticket reservations will be exclusively available on Interpark Tickets. Artist presales will start on the 24th, Live Nation Korea member presales on the 25th, and general sales on the 27th.
This will be 'Coldplay's first visit to Korea in about eight years. They first came to Korea in 2017, performing as part of their world tour 'A Head Full of Dreams'.
Despite it being their first concert in Korea, they showcased their strong ticket power. The ticket site crashed right after reservations opened, with 900,000 simultaneous users.
At that time, 100,000 people attended the Seoul Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium over two days. All seats were sold out, achieving a record for the largest audience ever.
In Korea, their collaboration single 'My Universe' with BTS increased their popularity among the general public. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard 'Hot 100' in its first week of release.
'Coldplay' also helped BTS member Jin with his solo single 'The Astronaut'. They later performed 'My Universe' together at the American Music Awards.
Meanwhile, 'Coldplay' is a band that has been leading the post-Britpop era. They have sold over 100 million records, including nine studio albums.
