Accident occurs between city bus and aerial work vehicle on roads in Anseong City

In Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province, a city bus collided with an aerial work vehicle that was parked on the shoulder, resulting in the death of one Chinese national worker and serious injuries to another.

According to the police on the 27th, the traffic accident occurred at around 8:16 AM on a one-lane road in Goham-myeon, Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province, when a city bus crashed into an aerial work vehicle that was parked on the shoulder.

Due to this collision, two Chinese national workers who were conducting landscaping work on roadside trees were severely injured.

The accident occurred when a city bus driven by a man in his 50s struck the aerial work vehicle that was parked along the side of the road. At the time of the collision, the aerial work vehicle was positioned across the parallel parking space next to the one-lane road.

As a result of the impact, the two Chinese national workers, who were conducting landscaping work on the work platform, fell from the aerial work vehicle.

One worker, a man in his 50s, was immediately transported to the hospital but ultimately died, while another worker, who was working alongside him, sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated in the hospital.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident on site and plan to apply related charges against the bus driver.
