Actor Choi Won-young has found a new home at Walnut & You Entertainment (hereafter 'Walnut').
On the 16th, Walnut announced, "We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Choi Won-young." They added, "We are delighted to work with Choi Won-young, who has garnered trust and love from the public through various works in dramas, films, and theater."
They continued, "We will do our best so that Choi Won-young's passionate acting can shine even more. We ask for your expectations and support for Choi Won-young."
Choi Won-young is now in his 22nd year since debut. He is an actor whose solid skills and seasoned acting shone brightly. He debuted in the 2022 film 'Sex Is Zero' and appeared in 'Sicily 2km,' 'Oh! Moonhee,' and 'Past Lives,' among others.
He has also steadily built up his filmography in dramas. He left a strong impression in 'Queen Seondeok,' 'The Heirs,' 'Kill Me, Heal Me,' 'Laurel Tree Tailors,' 'SKY Castle,' 'Doctor Prisoner,' 'Under the Queen's Umbrella,' and 'Hierarchy.'
Choi Won-young is set to appear in JTBC's new drama 'Assembled Family,' where he will play a father-daughter role with Jung Hae-yeon. It is scheduled to air in the second half of this year. He is also awaiting the release of the film 'Happiness Land.'
Meanwhile, Walnut & You Entertainment houses a roster of accomplished actors. It includes Kim Hye-soo, Lee Sung-min, Kim Yoon-seok, Shin Ha-kyun, Jeon Hye-jin, Joo Jin-mo, and Choi Deok-moon.
