'Girls' Generation' member Choi Sooyoung is making her Hollywood debut. She will appear in the blockbuster 'John Wick' series spin-off film.

On the 25th, the production team of the movie 'Ballerina' (directed by Len Wiseman) released a character poster on the official 'John Wick' website. Choi Sooyoung made a surprise appearance as 'Katla Park.'

That day, Sooyoung also posted the poster on her Instagram with the message, "I must protect her. Meet Katla in the movie 'Ballerina' on June 6."

'Ballerina' is the first spin-off film in the 'John Wick' series. It tells the story of a ballerina named 'Eve' (played by Ana de Armas) who transforms into an assassin to avenge her father's death.

Choi Sooyoung plays the role of 'Ilseong's' (played by Jung Doo-hong) daughter. Katla Park is known to be the character she protects during Eve's first field mission. Other details are still under wraps.

Meanwhile, 'Ballerina' is set to premiere in North America on June 6, with the domestic release date yet to be announced.
