Actor Choi Minho has announced a three-step transformation.
JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Family X Romance" (written by Kim Young-yoon, directed by Kim Da-ye) will premiere on the 10th. Choi Minho will showcase a different charm in his role as 'Nam Tae-pyeong,' who lives life his own way.
Tae-pyeong is a unique character with three identities. Although he is the youngest son of the chaebol family owning 'J Plus Mart,' he conceals his identity. He lives a busy life, oscillating between a taekwondo instructor and a security guard at the mart.
Despite his warm appearance, Tae-pyeong remains indifferent to approaches from women. However, this changes when he meets Byun Mi-rae (played by Son Na-eun).
The two share a common point of complex family backgrounds. They grow together based on mutual empathy, and a heart-fluttering romance is anticipated.
Choi Minho described "Family X Romance" as "a drama with a very interesting connection between realistic parts and dramatic elements."
He added, "It’s an attractive work where you can experience various genres," and shared, "I hope many people watch and have an enjoyable time."
Meanwhile, "Family X Romance" is a family melodrama. It revolves around the story of a father who was abandoned 11 years ago and returns as the owner of the family's building. It will premiere at 10:30 PM on the 10th.
