“Cho Jung-seok, Lost 7kg to Dress as a Woman… ‘Pilot’, Behind-the-Scenes”

Actor Cho Jung-seok will provide fresh entertainment this summer.

The movie 'Pilot' (directed by Kim Han-gyeol) released a 'Comedy Check-In' video on the 3rd, revealing behind-the-scenes production stories. It included an interview with Cho Jung-seok, who plays two roles.

The video also featured Lee Joo-myung, who is making her first big-screen debut, Han Sun-hwa, showcasing sibling chemistry with Cho Jung-seok, Shin Seung-ho, playing a lovable comic character, and director Kim Han-gyeol sharing their stories.

Cho Jung-seok said about the movie, "It was fresh, new, and a film I wanted to challenge myself with." He successfully underwent a major transformation, losing over 7kg for 'Pilot.'

Costume director Kim Jung-won prepared over a hundred outfits to transform Cho Jung-seok into the female character 'Han Jeong-mi.' There was also an effort to depict a realistic transformation process without exaggeration.

The reason why singer Lee Chan-won's fan items appear in the promotional content for 'Pilot' was also revealed. Director Kim confessed, "I referenced a lot of how Lee Chan-won's fans engage in fan activities."

He added, "Han Jeong-woo's mother's first idol was ultimately decided to be Lee Chan-won based on various episodes. Please look forward to some hearty laughs."

'Pilot' is a comedy film. It depicts the story of 'Han Jeong-woo' (played by Cho Jung-seok), who, after becoming unemployed overnight from a star pilot, successfully re-enters the workforce following a drastic transformation. It will be released on the 31st.
