A Shocking Smoking Incident Involving a Chinese Woman on a Jeju City Bus

A Chinese woman was caught on camera smoking a cigarette while opening the window on a Jeju city bus, sparking controversy.

Recently, a netizen posted the video on their social media, stating, "I can't believe this is actually happening in Jeju." The video showed a woman sitting in the front seat of the bus, extending a lit cigarette out of the window.

The woman nonchalantly puffed smoke, and an elderly passenger shouted, "Where do you think you're smoking? In this day and age! You should get off!"

This caused chaos inside the bus, and eventually, the driver stopped the vehicle and approached the woman, saying, "You can't do this here." However, the woman extended her hand out of the window to shake off the ash, ultimately throwing the cigarette butt onto the street.

In response to her actions, netizens who viewed the video expressed their anger, commenting, "There was also a video of a Chinese couple smoking at a G-Dragon concert; why do they behave like this in another country?" and "Throwing away the cigarette butt like that? How much do they look down on our country?" Additionally, "Can’t they hold it in for just a moment and smoke outside the bus?" were among the reactions.
