Chinese Tourist Damages Tesla 'Cybertruck' on Gangnam Street, Arrested
The suspect in the incident where a Tesla electric pickup truck 'Cybertruck' parked in the middle of Gangnam, Seoul, was kicked and damaged has been identified as a Chinese tourist in his 30s.
This man has also been arrested by the police for causing disturbances multiple times in the vicinity.

CCTV Captures Kicking Incident… Apprehended After Three Days
According to the Gangnam Police Station on the 22nd, the Chinese national, referred to as A, entered South Korea on a travel visa and is suspected of having kicked the side mirror of a Cybertruck owned by a nearby hospital, causing damage and fleeing around 2 a.m. on the 15th.
The closed-circuit (CC) TV footage released by the affected hospital clearly shows A performing a 'flying kick' on the vehicle.
Based on this video, the police launched a tracking investigation and apprehended A at around 1:40 p.m. on the 18th in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
Series of Disturbances Also Detected… Victims Include BMW, Motorcycle, and Hotel Staff
A's actions did not stop at this one incident. According to the police, he kicked and damaged the doors of four test drive vehicles displayed at a nearby BMW dealership before and after damaging the Cybertruck, knocked over a delivery motorcycle, and even assaulted a hotel staff member with a flashlight during his stay.
On the 19th, the police urgently arrested A on multiple charges, including property damage, obstruction of business, and special assault, and continued the investigation after obtaining an arrest warrant from the court the following day.
Meanwhile, the damaged 'Cybertruck' is a new electric pickup truck that Tesla showcased three years after the release of the Model Y, with a sell price ranging from $60,990 to $99,990 (approximately 87 million to 140 million KRW) in North America.
