Cheonan Nam-gu District Mayor Confirmed Dead During Trip to China
Gwak Won-tae, the mayor of Cheonan Nam-gu District, has been confirmed dead while on vacation in China.
According to Cheonan city officials on the 6th, Mayor Gwak was found dead in a local hotel on that morning while visiting Wending City on a personal vacation.
Reports indicate that Mayor Gwak, who had traveled to Wending City with a colleague he had previously worked with, encountered an unfortunate incident while on vacation.
The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, and the family has hurriedly departed for China to identify the cause of death and recover the body.
