Kim Moon-soo, the Candidate from the People Power Party, Appears at the Subway Station During Rush Hour… Public Reactions are Mixed
At the highly congested Seoul Subway Line 2's Shindorim Station, known for its busy commute hours, a debate arose as Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate from the People Power Party, campaigned.
On the morning of the 15th, around 8:20 AM, Candidate Kim arrived at the ticket barriers of Shindorim Station to greet citizens. The station became even more crowded than usual as commuters, campaign staff, and supporters gathered.
Supporters cheered, "Long live Kim Moon-soo!" and "Let's go!" as they approached to take photos together.

However, ordinary citizens passing through Shindorim Station had a different experience. Candidate Kim's presence at the ticket barriers was obstructing the flow of commuters, causing people to hesitate as they tried to pass.
They expressed their frustrations, saying things like, "What are you doing on our way to work?" "Get out of the way," and "Is this communism?" Ultimately, police and party officials were called in to manage the crowd.
In the midst of this chaotic situation, when a narrow side path appeared behind the party officials, some citizens shifted their path to that area.
Realizing this late, Candidate Kim instructed, "Tell them to come this way; block that area," actively directing the flow toward the ticket barriers, and this moment was captured by a YouTuber's camera.
Candidate Kim wrapped up about 30 minutes of campaigning even amidst the congestion. He rolled down his window to wave at the supporters who had followed him to his car.
Meanwhile, on that day, Kim Yong-tae, the co-chair of the election committee, was also present at the campaign site. He arrived at Shindorim Station before Kim and greeted staff members holding placards.
A man in his 30s protested to Chairman Kim, asking, "Why are you undermining internally? Shouldn't we protect liberal democracy?" Chairman Kim reassured him, saying, "Our candidate Kim will become president. I will ensure we can all move forward together."
