A story has emerged about a woman who quit her job at a convenience store due to a 50-year-old male customer who repeatedly visited.
Recently, a video titled ‘Grandpa who tries to get my number five times a day at a convenience store’ was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘Muhwa’.
In the video, the convenience store part-timer A asked, “I was hit on by this grandpa. He keeps insisting that it wasn’t his intention, but what do you all think?”
According to the video’s content, the problematic man came into the convenience store on February 14 and immediately asked A, “Have you had a meal?” A responded curtly, “What? Meal?”

A explained, “The day before, that man had bought alcohol and said, ‘It’s delicious when you buy drinks for a young, pretty, and fresh girl.’” She added, “So I deliberately reacted sensitively (to tell him not to talk to me).”
Then, on February 20, the man visited the convenience store five times at one-hour intervals to buy cigarettes or to hand over bananas. He also boasted to A that his cousin worked as a specialist and gave her a note.
The note read, “Hospital director OOO, appeared on SBS’s ‘Things Like This in the World.’ My number is 010-XXXX-XXXX. I wrote this because I heard you passed the nursing license exam.”
A shared, “From that point, I felt something was wrong, so I reported the situation to the store manager and said I would only work until this week.” She added, “After my shift, I ran home because I was worried he might follow me.”

However, the man visited the store again the very next day, February 21, and told A, “You shouldn’t take yesterday’s incident badly. I thought you were preparing for the nursing exam, and you never know what happens in life.”
Despite A’s indifferent response, the man said, “I own two Coupang buses,” and added, “If you don’t tear up the note I gave you, there could be a connection when I become the department head at my cousin’s hospital.”
Frustrated, A directly asked, “Why do you keep coming to this convenience store?” The man responded, “Is it unpleasant for me to come here because of the Coupang buses? There’s a big age difference, but I can be of help,” introducing himself as “now 57 years old.”
On that day, the man visited the store four times, asking A what she was doing the next day. When she replied, “I will be hanging out,” he suddenly shook his hips and made a sexually suggestive remark, saying, “Are you doing this?”
Viewers who watched the video reacted with comments like, “That’s scary,” “She made the right choice quitting her job,” and “Be careful in the future.”
