BTS has added to their collection of American platinum-certified works, surpassing their previous record for the most certifications.

On the 24th (Korea time), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) officially announced the certified albums on their website under 'Gold & Platinum.' The RIAA grants certifications based on single and album sales: Gold (over 500,000), Platinum (over 1 million), Multi-Platinum (over 2 million), and Diamond (over 10 million).

On this day, BTS received platinum certifications for four songs: "Run" (single), "Blood Sweat & Tears" (single), "DNA" (single), and "Fake Love" (single), indicating that all four tracks sold over 1 million copies each. This marks their 13th RIAA platinum certification, allowing BTS to rewrite their own record for the most RIAA platinum certifications among K-pop artists.

Previously, they had obtained platinum certifications for "Mic Drop" (single), "Boy With Luv" (single), "Love Yourself: Answer" (album), "Idol" (single), "Map of the Soul: 7" (album), "Butter" (single), and "BE" (album). Last year, they received a 5x Platinum certification (over 5 million) for "Dynamite," making it a record for K-pop group artists.

They also added gold-certified albums, including "Save ME," "Spring Day," "ON," "Black Swan," and "Permission to Dance."
