BTS has achieved another 'first.'

According to Melon, "Spring Day" surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams on the 13th. This is the first time a single song has reached 1 billion streams on this platform.

Thus, "Spring Day" has earned the 'Billions Bronze Club' badge. Melon awards this badge to artists who achieve 1 billion cumulative streams.

The song has been consistently loved. "Spring Day" has been on Melon's daily chart rankings for 7 years, entering for 2,738 consecutive days as of the 12th, setting the record for the longest charting song.

"Spring Day" is an alternative hip-hop song. It combines Britrock sensibilities with electronic sounds, embedding a message of warm hope in its lyrical melody.

Every spring season, the song re-enters domestic and international charts. Last year, it ranked No. 1 on Japan's Oricon chart's 'Daily Digital Single Ranking' (as of December 12).
