BTS has achieved another milestone.
On the 9th of March at 8:41 AM, the “ON Kinetic Manifesto Film” surpassed 600 million views, marking their 13th video to achieve this feat. “ON” is the title track from their fourth full album, ‘MAP OF THE SOUL:7’. The Kinetic Manifesto Film features the members alongside a group of 30 dancers and a marching band.
The large-scale performance is particularly striking. Produced as a performance music video, it showcases drum playing by the members, dance breaks, and synchronized choreography. “ON” expresses BTS’s determination to embrace their path as destiny. Released in February 2020, the song continues to receive love four years on.
The genre is hip-hop, filled with BTS’s powerful energy and sincerity. The soulful yet addictive vocals, combined with a massive session sound, add to the emotion. Upon release, the song entered Billboard’s Hot 100 chart (March 7, 2020) at number 4, and the album went straight to number 1 on the Billboard 200.
It also claimed the top spot on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)’s ‘2020 Global All Format Chart’ and ‘2020 Global Album Sales Chart’, proving its worldwide popularity.
