Pop star Bruno Mars clinched the top spot on a music show with the duet song "Apartment" (APT.), a collaboration with BLACKPINK's Rosé. He expressed his thoughts in Korean.
On the 25th, Bruno Mars shared on social media, "Thank you so much, Korean fans," and added, "I cried all morning because it’s my first time achieving number one on a music show."
The duo's "Apartment" took first place on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 24th. Rosé congratulated Bruno Mars, saying, "You did it."
Bruno Mars wrote, "Thank you so much to Rosé for helping us reach number one," and added, "Thank you for loving 'Apartment' so much. Love, Bruno oppa."
"Apartment" is inspired by the Korean "Apartment Game." Rosé actually came up with it while playing the game. It’s a catchy song with an addictive chorus.
Rosé will release her first full-length album "Rosie" on December 6th. It will include a total of 12 tracks, including the title track. Rosé participated in writing and composing all the songs.
