Earlier, there were differing opinions between both sides regarding how former President Yoon would appear in response to the special investigation team's summons. Yoon's side had requested to allow a closed entry through the underground parking lot, stating that it was inappropriate to publicly show him heading to the investigation room. However, the special investigation team did not accommodate this request.

The special investigation team announced the day before, "It seems that former President Yoon has indicated his intention to enter the underground parking lot of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office tomorrow at 10 AM after expressing his willingness to appear for questioning, and is continuously expressing this intention through the media." They emphasized, "We hope that a situation will not occur that could be viewed as noncompliance with the summons."

Ultimately, former President Yoon appeared through the main entrance in accordance with the special investigation team's policies.
