Suspect in Uijeongbu Elderly Protection Center Murder Case Found Dead in Suraksan
In Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, a tragic incident occurred where a female staff member in her 50s was fatally stabbed at an elderly protection center. A 60-year-old man, identified as a key suspect in the case, was found dead in Suraksan.
This shocking incident has been revealed to involve a 60-year-old man who had previously been reported for stalking.
According to the Uijeongbu Police Station on the 27th, a hiker passing through the Suraksan hiking trail discovered the deceased body of a 60-year-old man, referred to as Mr. A, at around 10:30 AM and reported it to the police. Mr. A was already deceased at the time he was found, and the police are currently investigating the exact cause of death.

Prior to this, on the 26th at around 5:15 PM, a 50-year-old woman, referred to as Ms. B, was discovered stabbed by a colleague at the elderly protection center in Uijeongbu.
Police investigations confirmed that Mr. A had approached Ms. B in mid-October and was reported for stalking.
Following the murder of Ms. B, the police identified Mr. A as a primary suspect and began tracking his whereabouts, but ultimately, he was found dead in Suraksan.
Currently, the police are expanding their investigation to determine the connection between the two cases and to clarify the exact circumstances of the incidents.
