Students Injured in Stabbing Incident at a High School in Cheongju
A stabbing incident occurred at a high school in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, leaving six people, including school staff, injured.
According to police and other sources, at around 8:41 AM on the 28th, an 18-year-old student, identified as A, wielded a knife at a high school in Osong-myeon, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju City. The principal, a special duties staff member, and an administrative staff member were injured by the weapon and were transported to a nearby hospital.
The perpetrator, who attends a special education class, was reportedly subdued by police and school staff after the incident.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
