‘Twice’ Nayeon sings the theme song for a Disney animation. On the 15th, Walt Disney Company Korea announced, “Nayeon has been selected as the special collaboration music artist for the pop version of the main OST ‘Beyond’ for ‘Moana 2’.”
‘Beyond’ is the main original track of ‘Moana 2’. It portrays Moana’s determination to overcome her worries and fears about the rough sea and move forward. A teaser video was also released. Nayeon appears in a background reminiscent of a sunset.
She sings of her resolve to rise to challenges with firm belief in herself. Her powerful vocals captivate the listeners. Nayeon sings a part of ‘Beyond’, exclaiming, “Even if I might not return/ I believe in myself/ I am Moana.” This collaboration continues Disney’s tradition. Following Taeyeon’s ‘Frozen 2′, NewJeans’ Danielle’s ‘The Little Mermaid’, and IVE An Yu-jin’s ‘Wish’, another masterpiece OST is created.
Meanwhile, ‘Moana 2’ will be released in theaters on the 27th, and the OST ‘Beyond’ sung by Nayeon will also be available that day.
