BOYNEXTDOOR has entered the ranks of million-sellers.
According to KOZ Entertainment, BOYNEXTDOOR surpassed a cumulative sales of 1 million copies with their 3rd mini album ‘19.99’ as of the 24th (based on YG Plus).
They produced their first million-seller album within a year of their debut.
Since their debut single, the members have consistently participated in songwriting, turning their stories into music.
Through this, they have quickly expanded their fanbase by forming a connection with the youth of their generation.
‘19.99’ also captures the honest emotions of the members, who are around 20 years old.
The genuine nature of their music was enhanced by the lyrics, which were directly written by the members and reflect everyday life.
Additionally, they captivate a global fandom with their strong live performances and skills.
Their career-high streak is not limited to their home country.
They have been breaking their own records in the U.S. and Japan, the central markets of the global music industry.
They entered the Billboard 200 at No. 40 (as of September 28), setting a new record for 5th generation K-pop groups.
In Japan, they also secured the No. 1 spot on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and the Weekly Combined Album Ranking.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will kick off their tour ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’ on December 14–15 at Incheon Inspire Arena, meeting audiences in 13 cities.
