BoyNextDoor has hinted at their enhanced musical capabilities.
On the 19th, BoyNextDoor revealed the tracklist image for their 3rd mini album '19.99' on their official website. They disclosed the titles and credits for the seven tracks that will be included in the new album.
The high level of member participation stood out. Myung Jae-hyun, Tae-san, and Un-hak were credited for writing and composing five out of the seven tracks, covering a variety of genres and boosting the album’s quality.
'19.99' is an album that uses the number '19.99,' an incomplete number, to represent the time right before turning 20. It candidly sings about the thoughts and concerns of youth standing on the brink between their teens and twenties.
The title track is 'Nice Guy,' a song that humorously conveys confident self-assurance. A representative stated, "It has a universal appeal that anyone can comfortably listen to."
'Parental Advisory' deals with the late-night escapades that members of the same generation have all imagined at least once. It encapsulates the group’s unique wit and MZ sensibilities, and is planned to be pre-released on the 2nd of next month.
The album also explores various genres. 'Stone' depicts the emotions of youth receiving a breakup notice. 'Twenty' reflects the members' calm sentiments about being twenty years old.
Through 'Call Me,' BoyNextDoor offers comfort to those going through tough times in their own unique way. 'Skit' humorously explores the members' thoughts on being twenty.
Meanwhile, BoyNextDoor plans to sequentially release comeback content, including three different versions of concept photos. They will release their new album on music sites at 6 PM on the 9th of next month.
