Bonekdo, 6 Days at No. 1 on Apple Music…New Song Achieves Highest Rank on Japan Billboard

BOYNEXTDOOR is gaining popularity in South Korea and Japan. On the 6th, they released their digital single 'I Love You Only Today.' The song topped South Korea's Apple Music 'Today's Top 100' chart on the 15th.

The song maintained the top position for six consecutive days since the 10th. Its realistic breakup theme resonated with listeners, combining relatable lyrics with upbeat melodies to captivate domestic audiences.

It debuted at 35th on South Korea's Spotify 'Weekly Top Song' chart, achieving the highest ranking among fifth-generation K-pop boy groups. It also reached 19th on Melon's daily chart and 3rd on the Circle Chart download chart.

The response in Japan is even more enthusiastic. 'I Love You Only Today' ranked 26th on Billboard Japan's 'Hot 100' (for the week of the 6th to the 12th), marking the highest achievement for a fifth-generation boy group.

Riding on their global popularity, they are opening pop-up stores 'Knock On Vol.1' in Tokyo and Osaka, selling official merchandise and character goods. Their first solo tour 'Knock On Vol.1' in Japan is also upcoming, meeting fans in Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa, starting on the 30th.
