Actress Lim Ji-yeon reveals a new side never seen before.
Lim Ji-yeon will appear in JTBC’s new weekend drama ‘Ok-ssi Woman’ (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyuk), transforming into a servant named Gudeok who is forced to live a false life.
Gudeok is a character who endures the tyranny of her wicked master’s household.
Despite her intelligent mind, beautiful appearance, and warm personality, she must keep them hidden.
She makes a desperate escape to survive as a human being beyond her social status, intriguing viewers with her blood-soaked appearance clutching a bundle.
Lim Ji-yeon commented, “I was curious about my Ok Tae-young,” and expressed, “It was an unparalleled choice, and the previous experience didn’t matter when selecting a project.”
An insider added, “It’s a life-and-death con act of a servant,” and urged, “Please look forward to Lim Ji-yeon’s intense performance that will offer overwhelming immersion.”
Meanwhile, ‘Ok-ssi Woman’ tells the story of a woman whose name, status, and husband are all fake, and the man who tries to protect her.
It premieres on the 30th of next month.
