BLACKPINK's Rosé has sung for Hollywood actor Brad Pitt's new soundtrack.
On the 9th, Warner Music Korea announced, "The original soundtrack (OST) 'Messy' from the movie 'F1: The Movie' (directed by Joseph Kosinski), sung by Rosé, has been released."
'Messy' is a collaboration song featuring American rapper Don Toliver and Doja Cat. It samples the original theme song 'F1 Movie Theme,' composed by Hans Zimmer.
The song will also be included in the 'F1' OST album titled 'F1: The Album' and will be the second track following the first single 'Lose My Mind.'
In addition to Rosé, a multitude of global artists participated in the project. The album will feature 17 new songs, including collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch, Tiësto, and Peggy Gou.
A related music video was also unveiled on the same day, featuring Brad Pitt and Kerry Condon. Filming took place on the Las Vegas Strip, a symbol of the city.
'F1: The Movie' is a film centered around Formula 1 (F1). It tells the story of a retiring race car driver who engages in an extreme race to secure victory for a struggling F1 team.
Meanwhile, 'F1: The Album' is set to be released on the 27th of next month.
