Blackpink is set to return with new music in November.
Yang Hyun-suk, the head producer of YG Entertainment, announced on the official blog on the 18th regarding the comeback of their artists (Blackpink, Treasure, Baby Monster). He confirmed this year's release of new music from Blackpink, stating, “Many people are curious about (Blackpink's) album. The members and the producers are working hard to prepare it.”
He added, “The hope is to release Blackpink's album by November at the latest" and mentioned, "We will do our best to ensure that fans can meet Blackpink's album soon.”

Blackpink's last album was the second full-length album 'BORN PINK,' released in September 2022. Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa have devoted themselves to solo activities and a world tour.
They made their entrance into the "hallowed grounds of pop" with the tour 'DEADLINE.' They performed at Wembley Stadium in the UK on the 16th and 17th (KST), gathering about 140,000 attendees.
Their new song is also gaining massive popularity. 'JUMP' ranked 28th on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart (as of July 26) and 18th on the U.K. Official Singles Chart (as of the 24th).
Producer Yang also discussed the activity directions for Treasure and Baby Monster. First, Treasure will release their third mini-album 'LOVE PULSE' on the 1st of next month.
Next up is Baby Monster. They will make their comeback with a new mini-album on October 10. Excluding the recent single 'HOT SAUCE', the album will be filled with four new songs.
The title track of the new release is 'WE GO UP,' which Yang described as the concept of Baby Monster taking flight. He noted that it is a powerful and intense track based on hip-hop and urged anticipation.
Lastly, producer Yang requested, "Please support and enjoy the upcoming new albums from Treasure and Baby Monster, as well as Blackpink’s album."
Meanwhile, Blackpink will continue their 'DEADLINE' tour in Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
