Streamer Geumbyeol is at the center of controversy as a video emerges showing her receiving profanity from a ticket office employee during the ticket refund process for the monorail.

The video has garnered over 2.2 million views and rapidly spread through social media platforms.

On the 12th, streamer Geumbyeol uploaded a video titled "I Got Cursed While Traveling" on her YouTube channel.

In the video, Geumbyeol politely inquires at the monorail ticket office, "Excuse me, is it possible to get a refund for the monorail since I didn't ride it?"

However, the ticket office employee responded, "We have already closed," and asked back, "Why didn't you ride?" displaying an uncomfortable attitude. "Why didn't you ride?"

Customer Service Controversy and Apology

A man nearby assisted Geumbyeol in her refund request, but the employee continued to express displeasure, saying, "Are you asking for a refund for no specific reason?" Geumbyeol expressed her confusion by stating, "If it can't be done, just say so."

In the end, after receiving her refund, Geumbyeol left with a "Goodbye," but the employee was heard through the microphone cursing, "F***ing b****."

Geumbyeol appeared shocked, stating, "Is it really necessary to curse like that?"

In the comments section of the video, Geumbyeol mentioned, "Thanks to the proactive actions of fellow colleagues and viewers, we received an apology letter from the monorail company," and shared the content of the apology.

As the incident gained traction online, the monorail company issued an official apology stating, "We sincerely apologize to streamer Geumbyeol and her subscribers who must have been greatly shocked by our company's inappropriate words and actions."

They added, "We will thoroughly train our employees to ensure such incidents do not occur again." It has been reported that the employee in question has received a one-month salary reduction.
