'EXO' Baekhyun showcased his immense album power.
Baekhyun released his 4th mini album 'Hello, World' on the 6th. According to Hanteo Chart's real-time album sales on the first day, it recorded 893,214 copies sold.
In less than a day, it surpassed the initial sales record of 868,000 copies of his previous work. This is the highest sales record for Baekhyun's solo album. It is expected to achieve a million-seller status.
The album is also popular on music charts worldwide. 'Hello, World' topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 33 regions immediately upon release, including Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Singapore, and Thailand.
The title track 'Pineapple Slice' also topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in four regions: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Laos.
The new album contains a total of six songs. In addition to the title track, it includes 'Good Morning', 'Rendezvous', 'Cold Heart', 'Woo', and 'Truth Be Told'. You can encounter Baekhyun’s unique R&B that mixes various genres such as pop, hip-hop, and alternative.
This is his solo comeback after 3 years and 6 months. Baekhyun will open a pop-up store on Garosu-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 7th to the 13th to enjoy the new album with fans. It will occupy the entire third floor of the building.
Visitors can experience a music room to listen to the mini 4th album, a photo booth, an MD exhibition and lucky draw event, and a stamp mission. Visits are only possible through reservations. Reservations have already sold out.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun showcased his comeback stage for the first time on the 6th on KBS-2TV 'Music Bank'. He will continue his activities today on MBC-TV 'Show! Music Core' and SBS-TV 'Inkigayo'.
