Baek Hye-ryun: "After impeachment, Yoon Seok-yeol will transform into an even more right-wing YouTuber than Jeon Kwang-hoon"
Ahead of the impeachment trial of President Yoon Seok-yeol, Baek Hye-ryun, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, caught attention by asserting that "if President Yoon is removed, he is likely to transform into a far-right conservative YouTuber."
During her appearance on News1 TV's "Fact & View" on the 1st, Baek stated, "The impeached President Yoon will become a conservative YouTuber," and emphasized, "Once he transforms into a conservative YouTuber, he will be worse than Jeon Kwang-hoon, not less."

Baek further projected, "If an early presidential election is held, it will affect the political landscape, but it will serve as a trigger for the far-right and rational conservatives to separate, which will not have any positive effects on the conservative side."
Baek Hye-ryun: "If impeachment is dismissed 5 to 3, the second April 19 revolution will occur"
Baek also expressed concern regarding the Constitutional Court confirming the date for the impeachment trial verdict with an eight-member panel, while nominee Ma Eun-hyeok was not appointed.
She warned, "If it is dismissed 5 to 3, it will be an outcome that the public cannot possibly accept," saying, "(The public) will think if nominee Ma had been included, it would have been 6 to 3. A 5 to 3 verdict is fatal. The second April 19 revolution will occur."

Nonetheless, Baek emphasized that she believes the Constitutional Court will not dismiss President Yoon's impeachment.
A former prosecutor, Baek said, "From a legal perspective, I cannot imagine any reason for dismissal," adding, "Based on the common sense of both legal professionals and the general public, I cannot find grounds to conclude that the state of emergency is not unconstitutional. Constitutional Court justices, being legal professionals, will inevitably rule in favor of the impeachment."
Call for suspension of trials and investigations if Lee Jae-myung is elected
Baek also expressed her stance that if an early presidential election takes place and Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, is elected, all trials and investigations against him should be suspended.

She argued, "The president cannot be criminally prosecuted unless it involves treason or foreign invasion according to the constitution. In terms of constitutional interpretation, realistically, trials should be suspended."
She added, "If the public was unaware of the facts surrounding Lee's trial, it might continue, but despite the trials and investigations, the people have chosen to elect Lee, so their will must be respected."
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court confirmed the date for the verdict on the impeachment trial of President Yoon Seok-yeol to be at 11 AM on the 4th. Currently, supporters and opponents of the impeachment are raising their voices around Anguk Station, with a surge in applications for general audience attendance, indicating significant public interest leading up to the verdict.
