BABYMONSTER’s First Full Album Coming… Title Track ‘Drip’ Composed by GD

Baby Monster will release their first full-length album. YG Entertainment announced on the official blog on the 8th that "Baby Monster will release their first full-length album, 'DRIP,' on the 1st of next month." They also uploaded a video titled 'YG Announcement Baby Monster First Full Album Release.'

On the 1st of next month, Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk personally explained all the tracks on Baby Monster's full-length album. He shared unprecedented pre-promotion plans and aspirations for the global tour that will take place from next year.

Yang remarked, "I really like this album." He also announced that they would pre-release the first verse of two songs weekly from this week, excluding the title track. The album consists of a total of 9 tracks. The first track is 'Click Clack (CLIK CLAK).' Yang explained, "It's a hip-hop song with a strong originality that YG hasn't showcased before. All members participated as rappers."

The title track shares the album's name, 'DRIP.' Yang made a surprise announcement, stating, "G-Dragon contributed to the composition." No teasers will be released until the release date. Yang asked, "I want to keep it well-hidden until it's revealed with impact."

Other tracks include 'Love, Maybe,' 'Really Like You,' 'Billionaire,' 'Love in My Heart,' and more. Songs like 'Walk Up in Tokyo' (Luka, Asa) and 'Forever,' 'Better Up' (remix), which capture the hip-hop vibe unique to the Japanese members, will be included sequentially.

They plan to showcase more than three music videos. Yang hinted, "We plan to shoot at least three music videos for this album." He also announced that the music video for 'Click Clack' would be pre-released 2-3 days before the album.

There was also mention of Baby Monster's world tour. Yang said, "We are planning it. We will surely create good results." Baby Monster is a group produced by Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk, and they officially debuted as a complete group of seven members on April 1st.

With their first mini-album, 'Baby Monster,' Baby Monster recorded a total of 401,287 copies in the first week of sales. It's a new record for the highest initial album sales for a debut K-pop girl group. The music video for the title track 'Shishi' recently approached 300 million views on YouTube.
