'Koyote' Shin Ji's fiancé Moon Won (36, Park Sang-moon) is taking legal action against the dissemination of malicious rumors.
On the 16th, law firm DLG released a statement regarding Moon Won. They informed that "after the announcement of their wedding news, false information is being indiscriminately spread online."
The damage caused by the dissemination of false information is severe. The legal representative pointed out that "groundless speculations and provocative content related to the false rumors are continuously circulating."
Concerns have also been raised about the behavior of some malicious commenters, who have sent severe abusive messages to Moon Won's SNS. Repeated direct messages (DMs) bordering on personal attacks have inflicted mental distress.
In the end, they decided to seek judgment from the law. Moon Won's side filed a criminal complaint on the 5th. They warned, "We will firmly respond to the dissemination of false information and the production and distribution of malicious content in the future."
Moon Won expressed that the decision to take legal action served as a moment of reflection on his own attitude and behavior, adding, "However, malicious content is spreading like wildfire, causing harm to many people."
Shin Ji surprised everyone by announcing her marriage to Moon Won through her YouTube channel in June. However, numerous allegations have emerged regarding her fiancé, including accusations of dating multiple women, illegal real estate operations, and past bullying.
Moon Won admitted to operating without a real estate agent license. He confessed that he divorced his ex-wife due to a premarital pregnancy shortly after their marriage. However, he denied other allegations.
Meanwhile, Shin Ji and Moon Won are scheduled to get married in the first half of next year. The two first met on the 2023 radio program "Single and Happy," which developed into a serious relationship.
