ATEEZ Starts North American Tour
On the 14th (local time), ATEEZ will kick off their 2024 world tour "Towards The Light: Will to Power" at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, USA.
They will perform 13 shows in 10 cities. Starting in Tacoma on the 14th, they will visit Oakland on the 17th, Los Angeles on the 20th and 21st, Phoenix on the 25th, Arlington on the 28th, Duluth on the 30th and 31st, New York on the 3rd of next month, Washington D.C. on the 6th, Toronto on the 8th, and Rosemont on the 10th and 11th.
The North American tour received an explosive response, with tickets for pre-sale selling out in less than a day. Additional shows were added in Duluth, Rosemont, and Los Angeles to meet the overwhelming demand.
The group will perform twice at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, showcasing their status as stadium artists. New York's City Field, renowned for hosting global musicians like Paul McCartney, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga, will also be part of the tour.
The Globe Life Field in Arlington, a large venue with a capacity of over 40,000, will host ATEEZ as the first K-Pop boy group to perform there.
Their global popularity continues to soar. Recently, ATEEZ's mini 10th album "The Gold Hour: Part 1" remained on the "Billboard 200" chart for five consecutive weeks (as of July 13), climbing 18 spots from the previous week.
The album was also selected as one of Billboard’s "20 Best K-Pop Albums for 2024." Billboard praised the album, stating, "'Work' is one of the most attention-grabbing singles," and it "takes listeners on a musical journey through a variety of emotions."
ATEEZ made history in April by performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as the first K-Pop boy group. Last month, they also became the first K-Pop artists to headline the Mawazine Festival.
