Trump Toilet Brush Gains Popularity in China Amid US-China Tariff War
As the tariff war between the United States and China intensifies, anti-American sentiment is rising in China, and a toilet brush shaped like President Donald Trump is regaining popularity in the Chinese market.
According to the Hong Kong Sing Tao Daily on the 13th (local time), this peculiar cleaning tool is being sold on Chinese online shopping platforms for as low as 13.9 yuan (approximately 2,700 KRW).

The product features a brush designed to resemble Trump's distinctive yellow hair and an upper body dressed in a suit.
This toilet brush first appeared during Trump's first term in office, but it is gaining attention once again amid the intensified US-China tensions coinciding with Trump's potential return to power.
The Economic Resistance Known as 'Yiwu’s Counterattack'
The product is manufactured in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China, and is nicknamed 'Yiwu's Counterattack.'
Yiwu is an area densely populated with small factories that produce low-cost products exported to the United States, which have been directly hit by the recently heightened US-China tariff war.

In addition to the Trump toilet brush, various products that satirize the US-China conflict are emerging.
Some online stores are selling mugs imprinted with the phrase "Commemorating the Participation in the Mutual Tariff War" for prices ranging from 10 to 26 yuan (1,960 to 5,090 KRW).
The anti-American sentiment is also evident offline. Recently, discriminatory notices targeting Americans have been spreading on Chinese social media.
A barbecue restaurant in Wuhan, Hubei Province, has displayed a notice at its entrance stating, "An additional 104% service charge will be imposed on American customers. If dissatisfied, please contact the US Embassy."
